The plane crashed near Vilnius airport on November 25.
On November 26, the recorders of a cargo plane that crashed in Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania, were found. This is reported by Delfi with reference to the Ministry of Justice of the country.
‘The recorders of the Boeing 737-476 plane were found at 11.30, extracted from the wreckage of the aircraft,’ the ministry's representatives pointed out.
According to the ministry, a team investigating safety issues has engaged in organising the process of reading information from the recorders.
‘The security investigation is not looking for the guilty and responsible. This investigation is independent of the law enforcement investigation or the administrative process, which seeks those responsible,’ the ministry pointed out.
The safety investigation in Vilnius will be conducted together with local specialists by experts from Germany, Spain and the USA.
