Lithuania Introduces New Sanctions Against Belarus

The list of goods that cannot be imported into our country is expanding.

From January 1, Lithuania will update the list of dual-use goods, the import of which is restricted for export to Belarus and Russia. We are talking specifically about the national sanctions that this neighboring country has imposed.

Thus, this list includes centrifuges, machines and devices for filtering or cleaning liquids or gases, various components of vehicles, such as transmission shafts, bearings, clutches, gearboxes, spare parts, as well as road tractors and other goods.

The Lithuanian government also excluded goods from the national list that are included in the EU sanctions list.

As planned, these restrictions will be in effect until January 2, 2026.
