Car From Belarus Astonishes German Police

Experienced officers could not believe their eyes.

In the German city of Lüdenscheid, North Rhine-Westphalia, a passenger car with Belarusian license plates was stopped, which made a “deplorable impression”. As it turned out, not in vain, writes the portal “Belarus and the World”.

As reported in the press release, the police checked the car of an unpresentable appearance, registered in our country, on Saturday, December 21, at 01.30 am. There were four people in it.

The place where the car braked on demand was slightly sloping, and at the very beginning it rolled towards the slope by itself, without any action by the driver. The parking brake used had no effect.

The person sitting behind the wheel tried to prevent further rolling by pressing the service brake. The effect appeared only after a few seconds, and it became clear that this brake could also have serious defects.

When the car was then inspected, even experienced officers could not believe their eyes.

Almost the entire frame of the car was completely rusted. One door and the trunk lid no longer closed and were secured with straps. The brake discs were partially cracked. There were no pads on the carrier plate.

Due to serious technical faults, the vehicle was banned from further use, including the removal of its license plates.
